I'm not sure--according to the link Melissa provided (thanks M.), many form around us but direct hits are more rare. Most of the time they pass us by, throwing us some rains and minor wind gusts, and go on to the East: Philippines, Japan, etc. I know for sure these weather conditions at this time of year is extremely unusual.
According to updated reports now, the eye of the storm is headed for another island north of us. However, we're getting very, very, strong winds and gusts. I expect the electrical power to go out at anytime now.
