I will try the trap. I want to stay clear of chemicals for now and try alternatives as I am in the GH a lot and I don't want to be surrounded by chems, let alone spray it on me. Thought, an insect strip or three I think I can handle. I may be defeated in my avoidance of chems but it's worth a try.
The mosquitoes after these rains are the size of small cranes!! Thumbs down I did some research and found there are no such things as Mosquito Hawks or other mosquito-eating insects. That the giant flying bugs I see are not Daddy Long Legs/Crane Flies but giant mutant mosquitoes! My Monkey Pot plant had one lone mosquito in it's cups. The anoles are outside looking for bigger game. Basically, I am left to my own undertaking. I have a bit of window screen which I will attach to the back of the box fan with magnets. It has already sicked in 2 Crane Flies but I am sure the mosquitoes are sucked through it unharmed.
After all this, I have and old can of OFF in the pantry if need be. sigh Shrug!

uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
