Thank you so much for your responses. I truly appreciate it. Yes, it just might be a dwarf lily. It is rather small. I never thought of it being a dwarf lily but then again I'm a newbie at lily gardening. This weekend I did however also plant some mixed oriental lily bulbs and from what I read on the package these will grow quite high. I planted four bulbs on saturday and on sunday morning, i saw that the darn little squirrels had gotten away with two of my bulbs. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So, I placed some type of wiring on top of the bulbs and see if this will discourage the little rascals from getting away with my bulbs.

I'm quite sure the bulbs I received last weekend, considering they were very tiny, will in fact be asiatic lilies. But that's ok. I'm sure they will be beautiful once they bloom, most probably next year. I can't wait!!!
