I can understand that. Purple and pink go well together. And it's more exciting to look at than say white.
I'm the same about clothing. Here I say this and my profile picture is that of a pink 'Arrowhead Vine.' And, I have two of them. Now that I think about it, I have at least three cacti that bloom pink. That wasn't planned though.
