We went hiking today at Del Valle Regional Park, in Livermore. Taking a chance of a break in the sudden heat wave we had yesterday. Thankful for the breezy conditions on and off, when we are nearer beach side of the trail. Love to see the lake, so refreshing to the eyes, as it gets rougher and drier heading up.
Really dry as we head up, thankfully the view below is worth it.
So funny we made a wrong turn, and our path was getting too dangerously narrow and steep ravine, thankfully we heard two bike riders above us and we realized we made a wrong turn, so we backtracked and found the safer path.
Heading back home as we leave Del Valle..the view is nice, albeit such a dry, dry landscape..drought making brown the new green indeed. Glad there are still some trees dotting some areas of the very dry slopes.
