I'm surprised you got it to root. Well done. I don't think it will get the big belly like the ones grown from seed, but it's possible. What species of pachypodium is it? I have several species, and some I keep tightly trimmed on top to get that fat bottom and they look great, but some would not appreciate such aggressive pruning.
