In Zone 8 all you have to do is show them dirt and they'll sprout roots - Honeysuckle is invasive in my zone - they produce hundreds of seeds for months. They aren't hard to root at all. Just take a 6 inch cutting of new growth and strip the leaves of of the bottom 2 inches and stick them in the soil up to the first leaf. Keep the pot in bright shade and soil moist. You should have roots in about a week or two.
