Here is a small Snapdragon in a homemade starter pot , I am really only seeing if these work or not ..
Their solid , they last , easy to bag and hang for storage , While they do occasional get bent out of shape , they do not crush or break as easy as most starter pots ,
Don't get me wrong , I have nothing against light easy starter pots that are buy and sell for doing business , But for myself , I like something more solid and lasting , at home anyway . Smiling

First is the top of a 2 liter , with the small starter plant (seedling )
Second photo , the bottom
The third the assembly , There is a small hole drilled a couple inches above where the top fits the bottom for drainage ,etc you can water from the bottom , but the planting soil will not be covered enough to drowned your plant , years like this outdoors , it matters

In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
