June 30 was national "Social Media Day" in the USA. That might mean we have too much time on our hands, but it made me think.

Is ATP a social medium?

It's primarily about plants, but people discussing things are still people being social.

And I know that I check in here to chat with friends more often than check in with a burning garden question or to "share" some "ground-breaking insight" like "seedlings die if you totally drown them for days on end".

I think that must mean that I spend hours per day on social media!

It's like when I found a book I was looking for in a bookstore category I wasn't ready to admit that I would ever look in. I thought that series of novels was kind of like occult science fiction: Kelly Armstrong's Women of the OtherWorld series.

To my embarrassment, I learned that day that all those years I've been enjoying a series of novels from the "occult ROMANCE" section!

I've been enjoying ROMANCE NOVELS all these years??
