Let it callous, we are having sporadic rains too. So this past June bloom I actually just stuck a couple cuttings in the pot (perlite and potting soil) but kept the pot dry. The leaf started clawing out and when we had 5 days of sunny forecast, put it where the pot gets sun and now it is promising...no rot. Then again, I have kept the pot on the dry side.
