Kim, guess what - mini roses in 4" pots are $1.99 at Shop Rite with your price plus card this week. Hard to beat mini roses at $ 0.50 per plant for a pot with 4 roses. I'll be checking for any colors I don't already have growing. My favorite, the red and white striped mini is getting ready to bloom again!

I think you can divide and plant them in the garden as long as you water them on hot, sunny days. If they are suffering from the heat, put a tall potted plant near them to block the sun. Don't be discouraged if they drop leaves after you replant them. That is transplant shock. They will recover from that. If they die back, cut them off at ground level. They make come back, they may not. If they bend over like they are doing a back bend, they will probably die. That is some kind of freaky rose disease I don't know the name of. That is what the white ones I bought did.
