yes its mychorrhizae, it needs to be in contact with roots,not top dress, nothings gonna happen to that, yes my number one brand is xtreme gardening, for fungis,

liquid is AZOS from xtreme gardening as well, this 2 product is a good combo when transplanting, its a root hormone also
