I don't spray but try to use roses that are disease resistant. After ten years, I figure out how my roses bloom, so they are planted accordingly. They are not the most sophisticated roses, but they are happy where they are and love to bloom. Red Flower Carpet and Red Meidiland roses are rarely without blooms. Once when they start in June, they will not stop till November. So they are planted at two corners (Red Flower Carpet and Red Meidiland) and one more Red Flower Carpet somewhere in the middle of the border. Even when the other roses are taking a break, these three provide color and constant bloom.
