So glad I found this thread - I've been looking for an ID for this iris all season. I thought I had gotten it from a neighbor, but realize now that I purchased it last year or the year before at Bachman's, a large local nursery. I absolutely love it but misplaced the tag and do not know its name. I have attached a few different photos showing it in different light. The color could potentially be called anything from rose, to lavender, to orchid, to whatever. It seems to be a mid-season bloomer, and does have a slight fragrance. It has very large flowers and put on quite a nice display. I have indeed spent hours surfing the web using different color names and so forth, but have not yet found the "aha" moment. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Old gardeners never die. They are just pruned and repotted.
