Oh shoot, Rick! I like your rambling...gives me lots of food for thought.

The trees I received from Rinoa were pruned...if they weren't the tips would have rotted due to the extreme temperatures they have to go through in transit to the destination. For example, by the time I received my trees from customs it was apparent they were refrigerated in that there was a lot of condensation/moisture on the plant and paper shreds in the box. I do not think Rinoa should prune any more off than she has to do to save people a few pennies on shipping costs (judging by my own trees).
