I've had a few roses get pale and mottled, and they cleared up once I fed them a bit. Hopefully someone else will pipe up once you post photos, because I don't think I've ever had mosaic virus here. My Caramella Fairy Tale rose got so huge I had to move it! Really really huge, like 8 feet wide and tall!
