I was pleased just now to see several open blooms on my S. Guaranitica! At first these looked to be slightly brighter than the Black and Blue blooms but I picked a Black and Blue bloom and held it right next to one of these blooms and there is very little if any difference in color. I think it must be the green calyces that give the blooms a different appearance. So am guessing mine is not Blue Ensign. But I am very happy with it. And with enjoying your great pics of your Blue Ensign.
