GDJCB said:Thanks for the pictures, its great to see good looking blooms still. I have all kinds of late rebloom scapes, and scapes on new plants. The few that are blooming are not opening well, or looking very good. I have many scapes starting that will be killed by frost. I think that I live in that border zone that is so close to having quality rebloom, but just a little to cold at night. Our lows are in the high 30's to mid 40's, highs in mid 70's to low 80's, this time of year. This semi-desert area has cold nights, even through most of the summer. I will continue, to look for plants with instant rebloom in mid summer, to extend my Daylily blooms. I have added many Emmerich Daylilies this summer, and a few of Norris, and Owens in hopes of seeing instant rebloom. Please continue to share, your beautiful blooms.

It's in the 40's here at night, too, and my **Heavenly Angel Ice** is doing pretty good. I posted a couple of pictures in the September thread, but I may take some new pictures and post them tomorrow. I have 4 blooms on one scape out there right now.The cold weather is actually preserving the blooms for multiple days (I have blooms that have been open for 3 days now--crazy!). I've been pollinating the blooms just for the heck of it, although I'm pretty certain most won't make it through the frost. (Can anyone confirm or negate that assumption?) I hope I'm wrong, though, and that seedpods are more durable and will continue to develop despite chilly temps. I also still have a couple of blooms left on my **Royal Frosting** daylily which is doing less well than HAI, but still looks decent. Thumbs up

I have been told that my **Goose Bumps** daylily should rebloom in October, but it hasn't sent up a scape, so it might be unhappy having been replanted (twice) this year, or maybe it's just not a reliable rebloomer. Shrug!
