DND I fired up our furnace for the first time yesterday also. Only going up to sixty today, but the temps should rise back to the low seventies later this week.
Mayo for zone 9a your temps are on the chilly side. I am sure the equator has something to do with it. Sighing!
DND Goose Bump might rebloom but at these overnight temps she might be going into survival mode. Try covering her overnight and take the cover back off when the daytime temp start to rise and see what happens.
