According to him, in his mild climate daylilies have pretty much continuous bloom all summer and implies that in that area bloom isn't really seasonal.

"The climate here in Corralitos is like no other we're aware of. We have mild temperatures, little precipitation, and lots of midday sun year around. We have fine sandy loam and unlimited water. Our daylilies bloom continuously from May until November."
