How strange ones mind works, as your first image of
L. pumilum makes me long not for lilies, but for snowdrops. Must be the shape of the bud and a general desire to come through the autumn and approaching winter over here. Or perhaps I'm just a bit crazy
Anyway, certainly a delight to see some beautiful and promising buds
