Lin, I have read so many articles that my eyes hurt! What I'm looking for is someone who has a plant that is an heirloom, passed down from a grandmother, etc. that has not been hybridized. I just know the segments are rounded (not pointed) and the flowers are a tubular, orangey-pink, and does not look like one of the "double-flowered" hybrids. That's what my sister remembers. I remember the cactus always being on granny's porch, and we were allowed to look, but not touch! I was just too young to remember!
