Joan Senior is one of those daylilies that I call my bread and butter daylilies. It just is such a good plant. Blooms forever it seems with no muss and no fuss. I am not partial to white daylilies - especially those so called whites that have a base color reminiscent of parchment paper (which is really a pale muddy peach). But Joan starts off white and stays white. Next to a pure white rose you can see that she's not really as bright a white as it is, but with no other whites around her for comparison she's white as white can be. She's in full sun and the blooms do very well even in our heat...........Maryl
