Joan Senior is one of the longest blooming daylilies here. She is a tall daylily with a thick, sturdy scape and a large flower. I notice that if she is in a shadier area the color tends to become more like a pale lemon yellow, but still very attractive. I am generally partial to color but find that a few white or yellow flowers in the garden set off the colors and provide some vibrance to the overall composition. Joan Senior is a high quality daylily and would be a good addition to any garden.

Old gardeners never die. They are just pruned and repotted.
