Somehow ... as I shop for supplies to do my potting and Planting this spring, I find some various plants have become attached and come home with me.
Some springy flowers
Canpunela - Get Mee (and I did)
A few Sedums Red Carpet Tricolor & Coral Carpet
A string of pearls and an Oddity
Some foliage plants
Corals Bells Snow Angel
And maybe one or two others I could not resist even though it is way too Early
Coleus Red Head and another. Maybe one or two others yet to be id.
Things are greening up nicely and a few of my plants did survive.
I have posted a number of pictures on the Sempervivum chat pages but thought I would add a couple more here.
A lost cause I think is this Autum Joy Sedum.
But the S. Pacific Knight looks good
The Neuveu Pastel is poorly but had some chicks
hiding under the plant label doing well.
My Noid group are doing well too.
Now I will get some pots ready for repotting and hope to add a few.
It is so funny that garlic chives continue to survive when none of the other herbs managed to do so. So this is another group that need some TLC.
The Heuchera look very sad and several other small plants are gone. I could not bear to post those pictures.
Hope Springs Eternal, especially in the SPRING
Bring on the warm weather.
Well, we have been crying because it was so dry here, and now
we have a ton of moisture. Started overnight on Saturday-Sunday
and continued through most of the day Sunday. Now the sun is back
but more snow will come tomorrow and then again Wednesday "They" say.
Snowing on Sunday AM, no plowing of streets till later so will stay in.
Monday Morning and the we have bright sun shine.
Yes my Sempervivums and sedums are under there somewhere.
Will see what the next few days will bring.
It really warmed up here in the last few days. Got up to about 60 today, who knows what tomorrow brings. In the meantime, I am going nuts as ValleyLynn got me started on Limericks
My latest and most crazy attempt
Not world class poetry but a lot of fun
Wish I knew how to get the roll on the floor laughing emoticon in here a couple of times.
It dropped to several degrees below zero last night and the high today was about 16 degrees.
BRRRRRRRR - I stayed inside.
Supposed to get even colder tonight, but planning to be in 50s by Wednesday.
My semps in the rock bed looke OK the other day, but don't know if they and those in planters will survive this constant up and down.
I will just have to wait for spring to see.
