A note from lauribob
I am not interested in selling or trading live plants. I do save seeds once in awhile and would be willing to trade those.

Vegetables this year
75-80 days. Heirloom. SHU: 500-2500 - Mild, hotter when red. We usually have pretty good luck with these. We usually throw them in salsa or sometimes stuff them for rellenos.

2023: 3 plants from seed. Got planted out really late, but look healthy enough. SE end.
2022: 1 plant from start. Planted out from GH June 6, northwest end. We got some peppers off this plant. They got thrown in the salsa.
2021: 2 plants from seed. Our peppers all did great this year!
2018: These did well

70 days. OP. SHU: 5K-10K. Yellow to red, long pepper. Not too hot. I can't notice much difference between 'Hot Wax' and 'Yellow Wax' in terms of taste or heat. We grow one or the other most years and they're usually pretty prolific. Good in salsa and for just munching on.

2023: 4 plants from seed. NE end.

70 days. Hybrid. SHU: 40-60K. I've grown these for several years now. I prefer the larger size of these as well as the little bit more heat they give you.

2023: 2 plants from seed - I usually do better with these! SE end.
2021: 2 plants from seed. We've got tons of jalapenos this year! Nice big plump ones.
2020: 6 plants from seed. We got a lot of peppers off each plant, but we need more plants next year.
2019: 1 plant from seed. Need more.
2018: These did well and we got quite a few peppers in a bad pepper year.
2017: These are great! They did well and we got a lot of nice big, hot peppers.

An anaheim with a little kick, like a mild jalapeno. Supposed to get really big and be perfect for chile rellenos.

2023: 2 plants from seed. Planted out really late, NE end.
2018: We had one plant of these - a purchased start. We lost the tags and didn't know what it was until I found the map after we had picked everything. We put them in our salsa. I think I'll try them again from seed.

Vegetables this year
80 days. Heirloom. SHU: 1K - 1500 Also sold as 'Ancho'. These are the best for rellenos. I think I do much better if I can find starts. Trouble is, you can't find them for sale until May and I'd like to have them getting big in the greenhouse earlier. Sometimes I can find them in a gallon pot and they really do well then.

2023: 3 plants from seed. SE end.
2021: Ended up with 6 plants in the garden. A mixture of purchased starts and some from seed, I think most of them were the ones I bought as starts because they were larger. At any rate, I ended up with a ton of poblanos, but they weren't very big. We made some good rellenos out of them!
2020: 3 plants from seed. They did OK.
2019: 2 plants from seed. Did OK.
2018: 2 purchased plants. We got quite a few peppers this year.

75 days. Heirloom. SHU: 10-23K. These small peppers are usually picked green, they get hotter when red. Heat falls between a jalapeno and a habanero.

2023: 2 plants from seed. SE end.
2022: Bought 3 starts, planted in SW corner. We got a lot of peppers off these this year. They had good size to them and are good in the hot sauce.
2021: 2 plants from seed put out a ton of peppers. We picked them all late in the season - green and red. They really added to our hot sauce pepper weight.
2018: Bought starts and they had a lot of small peppers.

2022: Bought 4 starts and planted in bags. They did really well this year and ripened nicely in the GH.
2021: Got quite a few plants and they're doing well. Moved all the hot peppers in sacks to the GH when frost was a threat in mid September. They did pretty well. Not a ton of peppers, but they were nice plump, juicy ones that added quite a bit to our hot sauce.
2020: We got 2 plants and enough peppers to make hot sauce.

80 days. OP. SHU: 150K-400K. Our favorite habaneros.

2023: I only got one to plant from seed. It's in a grow bag, SE end.
2021: Had some trouble getting these going - it took a couple tries. We did end up with 2 plants and they went into the bags and moved into the GH in mid September. They did well in there and were the plumpest of the habaneros.
2020: 8 plants from seed. We put some into bags to move into the GH and had some success with extending the season. We got a decent harvest of smallish peppers.
2019: Got 4 plants from seed. Enough to make a few jars of hot sauce, mixed with other peppers. It came out really good this year.
2018: We got these as starts. They produced really well for us and the peppers were larger than the ones we grew last year. Really tasty hot sauce from these.

Good for sauces, slicing, and canning." We've been canning more tomatoes in recent years and thought I'd try some paste tomatoes.

68 days. Hybrid. A determinate hybrid of 'Goliath', these are tidy, sturdy plants.

2023: 3 stout plants from seed. 1 in the SE corner strip.
2022: The year we started things too late. I bought 2 starts and got 2 from seed. Planted all 4 out, but the purchased ones are way ahead of my seed started ones. They didn't have any blossoms yet when they were planted. They do have really sturdy stems. We've had such a cold, wet spring and so far summer is looking like more of the same. I don't have high expectations for the tomatoes this year. None of our tomatoes had much size to them, but these performed well.
2021: 1 from seed. Healthy & strong, well behaved. These produced well and stayed in their cages.
2019: 2 from seed. These are compact plants that can hold themselves up at planting.

2023: 3 healthy plants from seed. 1 in the SE corner strip.
2022: Bought a start because tomatoes were an epic fail in the greenhouse this year. (Started too late.) Healthy enough looking plant. This one surprised us. Odd shaped fruit, but delicious flavor. Our favorite for slicing this year.
2018: Bought a start. Just so-so. Didn't particularly impress us in any way. They weren't horrible though.

These yellow cherries are delicious - my favorite cherry tomato of all. I've tried growing them on the porch in pots and that's a no-go. They are all over the place.

2023: 3 nice plants from seed. They are all in the SW corner strip.
2022: I started these from seed really late. Then I found some starts locally and bought 2. Gave up on the tiny seedlings. We had millions of tomatoes, but they were even tinier than usual. Still as delicious as they can be!
2021: 3 plants from seed, all in the garden. They are growing out of control - not contained by the large cages we have! Giant plants, tiny fruits, but very delicious. Skippy the chipmunk ate a whole bunch of them, the little ratscal.
2020: 2 plants from seed, both in the garden. Very small fruits this year. Yum!
2019: I have 3 from seed this year. Hoping they are the ones. They are tall and rangy looking. One in the garden and 2 in the herb garden. They are the right stuff!
2018: I got only one from seed and I bought a couple starts. I don't think I even planted the small one I started. Unfortunately, both plants had the same problems - they were out of control in their growth habit to the point that I won't grow them in a pot anymore. The wonderful sweet, acidic flavor was also sadly lacking and the texture was mealy. They had sort of elongated dark orange fruit that looked nothing like the yellow-gold round balls I've had in the past. I wonder if the hybridization has gone to hell or something? Or maybe they were mislabeled. Too bad, they used to be delicious.
2017: From seed. We got lots of fruit from last year's seed.
2016: From seed. Great again!
2015: From seed. Did well both in a pot on the porch and down in the garden. These are just delicious!

A really tasty, well behaved, small red cherry tomato that puts out tomatoes like there's no tomorrow. Always have great germination with this one.

2023: Seed. 3 plants. 2 are in pots, 1 in SW corner strip.
2022: Seed. Got a way late start this year and these were a second try on top of that. I planted them up in pots anyway and we put them on the west porch. We soon realized that they don't get enough sun there because they have to be back up against the wall and the porch roof shades them too much. Greg moved them out into the circle part of the Z5 garden and I guess we'll just hope the deer aren't bold enough to get them there. I might move them to the herb garden because I've had tomatoes there before with no problem. That is, if the mosquitoes ever die off to the point where I can go outside and work long enough to get anything done without being completely miserable. The deer left them alone, but they were shaded by the tall plants behind them and didn't do that well. We did pick a lot of tomatoes off of them though, and they were tasty, just smaller than usual.
2021: Seed. I planted 2 in pots for the porch because they taste better than any other determinate cherries we've tried. Also 1 in the garden because they always taste a little better down there for some reason. They're putting out like crazy since June.
August: They've been putting out really well all summer, but we have a chipmunk that's eating all the ripe cherry tomatoes in both the garden and the pots. We tried to catch him with a live trap, but he's too small and can escape. Luckily, he must have heard us talking about his possible fate and decided to move on.
2020: 2 plants from seed. 1 in a pot, 1 in the garden. The one in the garden always tastes a little better for some reason. Both grew well and produced well. Excellent as always.
2019: from seed. 2 plants - 1 in a pot, 1 in the garden. Both look compact and healthy.
2018: From seed. These outdid themselves on the back porch this year until the coyotes knocked them out into the yard in the process of killing Mo while he was sleeping in the chair.
2017: Perfect in a pot.
2016: Did well, very good.
