traded 1 of my Baja Red antigonon leptopus for it at the Fall Mst. Gardeners trade 0-17-22 September 17, 2022: Obtained plant (Has about 6 leaves on two 10" vines. I repotted in new soil in a red 8" across pot on my patio)
June 18, 2023: Cuttings took (cut about 7 8" tips that were starting to climb in tree (not wanted). I put in water to see if they root. Note: flowers are finishing since March.I also found a few seeds so will plant those soon.)

Sowed all seeds I had about March 1st. June 5, 2023: Bloomed (Had about 4 open same day. Vine has already grown about 3" in several directions on circle trellis with Split Second morning glory.)
March 1, 2024: Plant emerged (Last years plant is sprouting along old stems.)

March 1, 2021 I have 2 starter plants to sell each for $10 includes postage. (I bought about 2004 as an 8" plant at Lowe's. Is now 3' tall & wide in an E/SE bathroom window. I've rooted cuttings & gifted nice plants to both my daughters & my sister at our Mother's death.) May 1, 2019: Bloomed (In a bloom cycle now.)
July 1, 2019: Cuttings stuck (Took 3 tips off with about 5 leaves each & put in water to root.)
July 10, 2020: Cuttings took (white starter roots on all 3)
August 22, 2020: Potted up (1 died 2 are growing well in 3" pots in dining room window)
February 25, 2021: Obtained plant (March 1,2021 I have 2 starter plants for sale)
May 10, 2021: Cuttings took (I cut 1 branch with 3 sections off top of plant & in water to root. Ill keep as a new 2nd mama)
July 1, 2021: Potted up (Good roots so I put in soil & in dining room with bright light.)

'Coleusarus' - This is the one I liked a lot that had a net effect & burgundy centers. I grew from seeds 2020 then kept rootstock hoping it resprouts February 28, 2021: Miscellaneous Event (From traded seeds grown early 2020)
September 1, 2021: Transplanted (I think this is the same one. It's 10". By Oct.21 it's 30" & has 1st flowers which I pinch off at this time.)

Bought a bulb at a Master Gardeners plant sale 9-10-11for $3. It's now about 8 bulbs & leaves have gotten 3' long. Blooms later than 'Milk & Wine' variety. June 13, 2019: Bloomed (Buds just broke thru but aren't opened flowers yet. Stem is 3' again this year. NOTE: fully opened 6-16-19)
June 15, 2020: Bloomed
March 20, 2021: Transplanted (largest 6" bulb by gate under lorepetalum. Have 5 smaller bulbs I'll probably sell.)
March 23, 2021: Transplanted (Dug clump of 5 huge bulbs to plant where it can get it's 5' circle of leaves. Largest planted under 1st lorepetalum by gate. 1 given to Wanda & a couple for plant sale.)
June 12, 2022: Bloomed (1 stem with a head of about 7 flowers.)

Old plant from late 1990s from Scott K. in Lake Charles. The largest original bulb is the size of a soft ball. Leaves have gotten 3' long many years. May 14, 2019: Bloomed (1st bud of 2019 is opening.)
June 12, 2019: Miscellaneous Event (Took picture of bloom & seed pods developing after flowers.)
May 10, 2020: Bloomed
May 15, 2021: Bloomed
May 15, 2022: Bloomed (Blooms about 2 weeks)

When I gave Wanda the hot pink Ellen Bosenquet she said she had soft pink ones so brought me a large bulb with green leaves . I planted in a pot for now. 3-7-22 March 8, 2022: Obtained plant (Wanda Veillon brought me a large bulb & I planted it in a pot.)

I often cut these 6" to 7" stems that look nice 3 days in water.

Bought a 1 gallon pot with 3 nice plants for Buddy cat. Will divide & transplant so we can rotate them. May 19, 2020: Obtained plant (Bought 1 gal. pot with 3 plants $9 at Stines)
May 19, 2020: Transplanted (Transplanted 3 individual to rotate as Buddy eats them)
September 19, 2020: Miscellaneous Event (Gave 1 to Morgan for her cat)
April 1, 2024: Obtained plant (Bought with other plants from also got Cat Grass both for Buddy to nibble on. Planted in same pot.)

Side pic is mine in bloom a few years ago. original was from my aunt Enid back in early 90s. February 15, 2021: Miscellaneous Event (Even covered in front alcove it got hit hard by temps.)
March 29, 2021: Maintenance performed (Lost 1/2 of pot full of 3' spears. Cut off damage & repotted all healthy roots in a smaller pot)

Got in a trade about 2014 at 2". It was cut as a pup with no root so the 1st year was getting rooted so it grew slow. It' stopped growing any bigger for over a year so is mature & I'm watching for pups February 10, 2020: Plant emerged (Finally after 5 years it has sent out a pup. It's totally yellow at 1 1/2".)
March 12, 2020: Transplanted (Cut 2" pup with good roots & put in vintage burgundy pot from my Mother.)
May 20, 2020: Cuttings took (2nd pup)
June 1, 2020: Cuttings took (3rd pup)

March 15, 2022: Transplanted (Solid green bird nest one -Uprooted a 3" offshoot & put in it's own pot)

Got my start from Rattlebox in a Jan. 2017 Swap. It grew 1st year & as a perennial got large in 2018 & continues 1-1-19. February 1, 2019: Winterized (I cut it back sharply to 1 ft.X 1 ft. It's winter hardy here in Zone 9.)
March 1, 2021: Plant emerged (Sprout with a few leaves at base of spent plant)
June 1, 2021: Miscellaneous Event (Nice hanging pot plant about 12")
March 1, 2024: Plant emerged (Comes back from roots. In a hanging pot & does well.)

Cuttings from a friend growing fine in water one year now.

I call it 'Redbird' plant. August 22, 2020: Miscellaneous Event (It's rebounded to several branches 18" so I put pot on porch in a macrame hanger to get 3 hours morn. sun.)
December 21, 2022: Miscellaneous Event (Cold temps & shorter days have made leaves turn pink.)
April 1, 2023: Bloomed (Finally made 1 little red bird flower. Plant also had a pretty blush in cold weather this winter

A heavy producer for us in late July when other varieties are finished. It's a green Italian honey variety that makes sweet canning preserves. March 1, 2019: Plant emerged (1st leaves of 2019 started sprouting out.)
March 5, 2020: Miscellaneous Event (Had Paul cut it back harshly to 6')
January 30, 2021: Maintenance performed (Trimmed 6' tall new branches that sprouted since March 2020 sharp trim to keep bush full 5' to 8' with this Springs growth.)
July 20, 2022: Fruit Ripened (About Rachel's birthday they start ripening & I got 2 gallons this year)
March 1, 2024: Miscellaneous Event (Started leafing out so I tipped all branches at 6' for easier picking this year.)

March 1, 2022: Bloomed (Vine is way up 15' vitex but I started finding flowers dropping on a windy day.)

March 21, 2022: Transplanted (repotted to find about 5 tubers so in a hanging pot & watching for plants to emerge)
April 21, 2022: Plant emerged (Found leaves on tubers in hanging pot)
June 6, 2023: Bloomed (late this year but 1st flower of 2023. Vine is only about 2' long.)
April 15, 2024: Plant emerged (Hanging basket was completely bare & over night 2 or 3 popped up.)
