Absolutely gorgeous to my eye. Combines the characteristics of some of my favorite irises. Is someone releasing it?

My late Wife's maiden name was Griff. My sister-in law's husband is Yost.....same as the hybridizer's name. I love the database pictures and look forward to having it in my garden.

Besides being a beautiful Daylily it has another attribute. I have 3 in various parts of the garden and they are all just starting to bloom. Many of my other DLs are done or nearly so. I expect to enjoy Marque Moon for another month or more.

A very special Blue Pink Iris. Not a trace of peach. I'm enchanted by it......Lovely form and what a beard.......Great stem and bud placement.

This plant grew well and produced a good crop of medium size fruit. I found the flavor to be very nice, Tastes like a tomato should, not too sweet and not too tart. Great on a sandwich or in a salad. I will plant it again.

Premier Compact Blue

A stalk of Lilac wings won first runner-up to best in show at the Utah Iris Society show yesterday. The stalk had 3 well spaced open blossoms. It was much admire by iris growers and guests at the show and beat out a number of nice T.B.s.

I've lived in Utah all my life and have only seen the Sego Lily a few times. They only grow in areas that meet their specific needs. I have been a member of a number of garden clubs for years and only know of one couple who were very experienced gardeners and grew them successfully in their garden. One year when food was scarce the Mormon Pioneers used the bulbs as a food source. They must have been more plentiful then.

My Son grew Black Trifele this year and brought me one yesterday. A nice surprise with wonderful complex flavor. I plan on growing it next year.

A comment in praise of SunSugar is probably redundant, but it is such a great tomato I will comment. My whole family loves it, as does everyone I share some with. Very productive.......enough fruit to graze on in the garden and pick for future eating. As long as I raise tomatoes, there will be room in the garden for SunSugar.

I found a plant of Dr. Wyche's at a local favorite nursery this spring and as I love to experiment I couldn't resist trying a plant as it was completely new to me. It was a good choice. The medium sized plants produced a moderate number of well formed fruit. Golden Yellow in color and makes nice slices. Fruity flavor, sweet but with a little sharpness. Makes a great sandwich. A definite keeper if I can find it again. I can recommend it.

I grow tomatoes for sandwiches and salads, and to give away. This is my second year with Black Krim, I still like it, and it will be back another year. Nice large tomatoes, fairly productive numbers-wise. Often oddly shaped. I sometimes have a hard time knowing when to pick it when it is at its prime. I'm also growing Black From Tula and find them quite similar.

This is my first year trying Jet Star. My plant looks like it is determinate......a compact plant with lots of tomatoes that will be ripening near the same time. The first one was ripe today so I gave it a try. Flavor was mild but pleasing. I will make a judgment as more ripen and then decide about next year. I'm thinking probably next year......

I got a nice start of Victory from Wolf Creek and it adapted to my garden and grew quickly. It is a large handsome Hosta which is easily recognizable. The leaves are huge and the color contrast with the border is great. Bloom stalk is tall. I would recommend it.

There is a great farm stand in my area where I buy tomatoes before my own are on. They grow Goliath and it is a very nice tomato with great flavor. I'm growing a plant this year.

This is the first year that I have grown Kellogg's Breakfast tomato and I am well pleased. The plant is large, healthy, and vigorous and is covered with developing beef-steak type fruit, which are large. It has a mild pleasant flavor and the center is meaty and quite solid. Well worth growing.

I am always swayed when I read that a plant has received an award. This was All American in 2014 so it tempted me. My plant was covered with fruit when I bought it. It has stayed small and ripened lots of fruit. Flavor is OK but it has a tough skin which puts me off. Would probably be good in a container in a small garden. I have limited space so may not plant again next year.

Day Breaker is a vigorous healthy rose here and I haven't had any cultural problems with it. The bush covers itself with nicely formed blossoms that age well. It grows quite large. I bought my mother one of these because the hybridizer is Fryer from England and that is my mom's maiden name. I would highly recommend this rose. A favorite. It is being carried by a local nursery and has been for years. It must sell well, An award winner in England.

Spiced Peaches remains one of my favorite Iris IB's. Each year when it blooms I appreciate it more. Nice straight stems, good bud count. nice ruffled form and substance, and the blooms last. Best of all is the rich peach color, which carries across the garden. I'll be moving some starts to another location this year. Great for the show bench if you catch it on the right day.....

Spinning Wheel and Rose Tattoo were the first two irises that I ordered. Both were Nearpass iris and I think they were very forward looking for their time.
