Thanks, Dot I didn't know you could change the time.
I sometimes stay up until the wee hrs and have listed on the LA then lol. Not a good move.

Susan, I can't help you with info on the seller, but you have won some very nice plants.

Dot and Michele, I finally won a plant, and the 'time' may have been why.
Maybe the other bidder did not want to bid again, or maybe it was past their
bedtime, so I can see how the wee morning hours can help sometimes.

I'm not going to be selling this year, so I have plenty of time to learn the process.
As of now, I'm focusing on reorganizing all beds to have room to line out plants.
Much work to do in early spring. Was moving some early fall, but the cool nights
arrived.

I usually have a set price that I will pay for something, because I do a little research on the daylily and decide what it is worth to me. Then I plug in that amount. If someone bids against me or I am going to be working or sleeping when it ends I will up my bid before I leave the auction, that is if I really, really want it. Sometimes I will double check to see if someone else has it cheaper and on two occasions someone else did have it for a lower price so I did not up my bid, I just went to the other vendor and bought it there. What can I say, business is business. Green Grin!

I got this from Subhanaflourishing, it's just a single fan. Also got two triple fans of 'Bell Cook' for 8.00 each. I am using one for a trade. Green Grin!

Ev. 6.5" x 3.5" x 2.5". 6-way branching (3 laterals + terminal "w"). 38 buds.

virginiarose, sounds like you have a "real sweet tooth" Whistling (candy store!!!)
Looks like you found yourself some pretty ones. I can't grow the Evergreens here. Too far north I guess. I do have a few SE though and so far they have done okay.
What is LA? And what is this "code business" you accomplished? I think I have a lot to learn. I just tonight learned what to do with the "quote" box. I finally got brave enough to click on it and soon discovered what I could do with it; just had to find out...curious mind!

Oma Hurray!
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.

Oma, the code business I was referring to is the new feature Dave added. If you go to the database and find a flower you like, you can open it (just click on the picture) and there will be a code at the bottom. If you copy and paste the code, you can include it in your post instead of a link, the actual picture will show up and it gives credit to the owner. Works out good for me because mine are all new and I can show the picture of what it will look like instead of trying to describe it or post a link. I love pictures anyway, so I am having a ball with this one as you can see. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Cool! I am just now seeing this. It is almost five p.m. so time for me to get supper; waiting on DH to come home.
I will have to try the code. Neat! I am slowly but surely learning my way around. Sometimes I get lost reading posts and then I forget who I wrote what to. LOL Nice to have friends!
Have a great weekend. It is wet here and is to go down in the low fifties. We had two days or three of the upper seventies.
That spoiled us.

You need to be careful, it is easy to lose track of just how many you have won. Don't get me wrong, it is great to win, but don't forget that you still have to PAY for them and then PLANT them Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Yes, I only wish my hubby liked to garden. Maybe when he retires he will take an interest in it. My son helps when he is home from college. He is an Ag Tech major so very good help.
