so.....i posted a while ago regarding martagon seedling germination and growing. i recieved excellent information about soil, light, and general care of lily seedlings. my seedlings are now about 6-8 months old and are doing very well. so thank you.
i've potted them up and bulbs are the size of a chick pea. i've had them indoors under lights.
my question is can i put them outside. and if so what conditions would best suit them.
i have about a hundred seedlings , so will be saving much $$$$$$$.....if i can get them to flowering age.
also any additional info regarding getting these to flowering age would be greatly appreciated.
thanks once again for all your prior help.

Forget the martagons (for a while). Every year I become so enamored by this hybrid.

My favorite seedling so far this year. Grown from seed that Connie donated to NALS a few years back. I believe it was 'Summer Palace' x 'best purple'. I gave this one a garden name of 'Starstruck' and will evaluate this one in the coming years to see how it does for Registration considerations.

I found this seedling to be interesting with the larger green nectary on an asiatic. Grown in a seedling bed I have had for a while, first time seeing this one though. Growing in a clump from a seed lot by Jeff Stiller 'tan' x 'buff'. Doesn't resemble the rest of the clump, so possibly a volunteer, but one I will keep an eye on for the future.

A couple other seedlings I've liked so far.

I like my seedling too, Dave. My goal is to reduce the yellow for a cleaner look but Starstruck fits this seedling. I will soon cross my seedling 15-1: (Midnight x dark Summer Palace) with pollen from my darkest Pink Perfection from B&D. Just waiting for PP to snap to it. Don't forget to evaluate for bud count and pedicel placement; it can take a couple of years to get its final form.

The other seedlings are nice too but the last one really piques my interest. Love the cool lime reverse.

Nice seedlings Rick & David. Pinks and greens are some of my favorites.
