My favorite seedling so far this year. Grown from seed that Connie donated to NALS a few years back. I believe it was 'Summer Palace' x 'best purple'. I gave this one a garden name of 'Starstruck' and will evaluate this one in the coming years to see how it does for Registration considerations.
I found this seedling to be interesting with the larger green nectary on an asiatic. Grown in a seedling bed I have had for a while, first time seeing this one though. Growing in a clump from a seed lot by Jeff Stiller 'tan' x 'buff'. Doesn't resemble the rest of the clump, so possibly a volunteer, but one I will keep an eye on for the future.
