Blooms open every time I remember to water it.

My constance Elliott, the snails, (3) were on the main stem four days later and I lost the whole top part. I had one years ago for decades that looked different and passies down here are constantly being mislabeled but I was happy to get another white






My butterfly vine (Mascagnia macroptera) seed pod, This is the first year to get a seed pod, the hoppers usually eat the flowers, now maybe I will get to see it change colors

My Amethyst passie is making a lot of buds, woohoooo!

How do you get it ready to overwinter? Do you let frost take down the vine before bringing it inside? Or cut off the vine and then overwinter the roots? Or do you overwinter the vine without cutting it back?

I prune back the growth to the trellis before bringing the pot inside. Amethyst has been forgiving of my lack of knowledge in growing passies. This fall I will probably have to extract the root ball and transfer it to a smaller pot for overwintering. I keep it growing at a reduced rate under artificial lighting in the garage, along with the fat root morning glories and brugmansia plants.

Except for the lights, that's what my bff in Dallas does

I bought 4 "ANNUAL" Passion Flowers from a nursery 4-5 years ago, they are still alive but have never had a single flower.
