Its growing like that because they never gave it a support to climb. You may not be able to straighten it out. You can try unearthing any adventitious roots that have rooted and are holding it down and see if you can get it straighter, then attach to to a real support (not that silly little bamboo stick) like a thick moss pole, a thick coir wrapped pole, or a nice piece of wood. Even a piece of untreated fence board.
You don't say where you live in FL. If you live in 9A with a really good microclimate or 9B and above you can let it grow outside up a tree

Hi tatixix, Welcome! to the site!

I agree with Gina, your Split-Leaf Philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) will do much better if it has a structure to climb. Many people place moss poles in their planter pots but I often wonder how they extend the length of the moss pole when the plant attaches to it and climbs higher and higher. I'm in zone 10a Sebastian, Fl and I sat my Monstera beneath a tree in our backyard a few years ago where it's grown a lot wider but hasn't started climbing the tree yet. If you plan to keep yours as a container plant, it may need a little larger pot and as suggested, a moss pole or a heavy tree branch planted in the pot so that it has something to cling to and climb.

This is my plant in 2016:

This is my plant now. It's still in the plastic pot but has rooted into the ground through the drainage holes of the pot.

They will root to anything if they are close enough. Otherwise they have to travel over. Fences, rocks, side of the house, tree, it's all a support to them

I think I see the stem broken and split in half and brown? If so, I'd have to deal with that, it would bother me, even if it doesn't bother the plant.
Plant it and they will come.

It won't affect the plant. It like the plant decided to take a cutting of itself. If anything, it will lead to a new lead forming which is desirable. So there's nothing to deal with.
As a climbing Monstera deliciosa ages, they will frequently allow the stem where it enters the ground to wither and die, severing the connection to the soil except for the adventitious roots that have grown into the soil from above the break. They do this because they do not actually need the soil anymore. They are epiphytic, and are able to live quite well like that.
Some philodendron species will also do this
