What did you get, Dot?

Trimmer fans were bigger than fans of other growers I ordered from.
I think Trimmer downsizing to just hobby grower so they will probably be having extra good values.

We got our daylilies today from the Trimmers. They were huge fans! You can see for yourself. They also sent 6 of their 2014 Intros as donations for the auction at our June 13-15 Region 5 Spring Meeting that our local club is hosting.

My order showed up! I thought I had postponed everything because I was going to be out of town but I missed this one.




They look fantastic for how long they have been boxed up.

I also got a lovely note from Jane with a gift plant of AMERICAN CLASSIC because JOHN KULPA was a single fan.

Wow, AMERICAN CLASSIC as a bonus is fantastic! And I must say those really do look great for being boxed up a while. I just noticed today that my WAVES OF JOY has a scape emerging, although I actually got it from Nicole rather than the Trimmers. But it's a big beautiful SF with a big thick scape and I can't wait to see it bloom!

Those are nice fans! Another reason daylilies are so loved... they can patiently wait for us until we are ready to plant (up to a point I'm sure)

Glen. I was really happy with them (they also sent 3 fans of DRAGONFLY TATTOO).

There are also scapes with buds. I am going to let them grow and hopefully come to bloom to harvest some pollen.

Betty, I have been wanting Dan Trimmer's WAVE OF JOY since I first saw a picture of it. We got our daylilies from the Lily Auction's Abundantdaylilies (Mark Sattelmeier) today. I had won a SF of WAVES OF JOY a few months ago. I only expected a SF and was thrilled when I took out a 5 fan clump with two scapes. I want to see blooms! We got ANGEL LOVE and SUNFLOWER BLUES a couple weeks ago. Maybe they will send up scapes soon, and we can spread some pollen.

Nice! I really want to see WAVES OF JOY in person this year and I am eagerly awaiting garden pics of SUNFLOWER BLUES as they were sold out when I put my order in.

I also looked at the SF of JOHN KULPA. As I was potting it today. It's splitting...into 3 fans!
