We are soooooo BAD!!!

My mother before she passed away was fine with us sprinkling her ashes in some place nice. But we instead opted to bury her urn and ashes. I have often thought I wouldn't mind having my ashes scattered in a place that was significant to me! I don't know if I would make very good fertilizer though.....

I have been so busy the last few days that I haven't been near the LA. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I am having our main Thanksgiving today, because some had to work or was at other family gatherings. Good luck on the Black Friday deals, if you do that sort of thang.

I think it's an interesting mix of new and older plants. A good friend recommended Raspberry Mountain. Then when I looked at a number of yellows, couldn't find one that looked better to me than Eloquent Cay. Price was right too--$8. If it doesn't like it here, not out much at all. Really excited about Nichole's plants--they didn't even miss a beat when I planted them. Like that!!

Oh, about the fencing on the bottom of my boxes. I'll just say we have a substantial population of anoles and 3 or 4 good sized black racers here. I didn't want to be standing beside a box admiring a bloom with a snake slithering over my feet. The fencing also protects the anoles who really, really like to hide under those boxes--cool and damp. The little lizards are like candy to the snakes.

I just checked out the LA for the first time in a while. I was good and focused on family and friends while I was out of town before Thanksgiving and have been busy working since I returned.
