Lots of fat buds everywhere and my two Clematis (Clematis armandii 'Snowdrift') are in full bloom, the fragrance in the evening is intense.

Absolutely! It is amazing to see so many shoots growing straight up ,almost saying " I hope there is something to cling to soon"

I have a few signs of life, but no burgeoning buds --just empty stuff to cling to, waiting patiently...

I forgot about this in a plain old plastic pot all winter. We had an unusually cold winter

Seems to not have minded!

My first clem is blooming, 'Dawn' and Josephine has several blooms just starting to open.

Sue, Dawn is just lovely. All of my plants have now leafed out, and I have a lot of buds. Here are a few of them.

One of the Arabella's seems to have layered itself and now I have some new plants.

My Brushwood order arrived today, I got 2 montana Fragrant Spring, and they came with buds and blooms.




I also picked up 2 Henryi and Jackmanii and potted them up this evening.




The box said they are 1 year old plants, they can't be serious I'll have to baby theses plants and see if they survive.

I picked up itty bitty ones from Lowes that were that small, never again!

Zuzu and I shopped a couple of nurseries today, all in 1 gal. pots,
I only bought one Clematis (Clematis macropetala 'Lagoon'),


I can't remember how many Zuzu got. Wish I had taken pictures of the monster clems at one of our favorite nurseries, not blooming yet but they were simply huge!
I just cropped one of the shots I took at that nursery, the clems are in the raised beds on the left, probably about 5-6 foot tall and 2-3 ft wide. Will go back and take shots when they are in full bloom.



Some were already in bloom at each nursery.
