My avatar pic is surprisingly enough an "oldie": Hem. Red Ribbons, Lenington (1964). Hopefully some better pics in bloom season. I like almost everything I grow but RR always makes me smile. Neither of mine has reached the registered height but overall a good performer.
My daylilies really suffered last year so hoping this season won't be a disappointment. I think loosening the soil and paying a little more attention watering-wise. I had a lot going on and my garden spigot was turned off due to a leak under my house. Hoping to add a few varieties yet this year as I've lost a few potted specimens.
Need to sell more work 'cause I've got to have some Gossard's!
Welcome to ATP and the Daylily Forum Wes! I grew Red Ribbons years ago, I don't remember it ever growing to it's registered height of 42" here either. Even so, it was a good performer and the vibrant color always made it stand out.
