Nice! I need a nice big rich yellow. I have several yellows but they are more pastel and then I have GOLD KISSED which is more to the other end. Both Floyd Cove and Bill Waldrop have gorgeous ones this year.

I got Floyd Cove's new NEW DAY SUNSHINE, and I have scapes coming up! Hurray! Those two pictures turned out a little more gold than the blooms actually are, and I really love LIMONERO SQUEEZE because it's a wonderful lemon yellow with a beautiful blended green throat. And there are times when it really does have a greenish cast -- just not this morning...

Here in Germany the flower season has just begun. There are only a few of early-flowering varieties.
Here the species Amur DL (Hemerocallis middendorffii).

Lovely, Hans!!

The one last night and this morning weren't too bad but the one now is awful. We have Tornado warnings and more flooding. We do not need any more rain for a while unless it is light rains because we are having a lot of flooding here.

This was blooming yesterday, the first for us this year. I don't know how much rain Michele got last night but we got 20.6 inch's, I may not have any scape's left after they suck up all that water, and its still raining.

Yeesh. We've had little to none since the snow melted. The weather folks kept saying 3+ inches this week and we might have received 1/4 inch. Hope you all get to dry out a bit!

Geez, you guys are getting pounded! the northern & southern most portions of our county are still dealing with the flooding from the Suwannee & Santa Fe rivers overflowing from the last deluge we had & now all this rain north of Lake City which dumps into those rivers.
I simply can not understand it. They have 20% chance for us today. Take a look at the radar:
