Orange Art is one from the co-op and started growing a little before I was ready to plant them outside. I potted them up in a plastic container and the first flower opened today. Very first lily here in zone 5.
Debra, Just a reminder about Lollipop. Its a real multiplier. I cant believe what a couple of years did for some I put in a planter. The third season the entire 18 inch pot was nearly solid with mothers and babies.
That information is good to have, Jo Ann. The area in which the five bulbs were planted has a lot of room for expansion. I was looking for something to put in with them, but I should probably leave it alone for a few years and see what happens. Thank you!
Connie.I also love Original Love. It has been here for 4 years and doesnt seem to be vulnerable to anything.
jmorth, Salmon Classic is also my fave as an early bloomer. It was a bonus from Hallsons and has been divided and transplanted 3 times in 5 years with no problems.
Fata Morgana is another one that I started indoors a few weeks before planting them outside, so it's blooming earlier than it probably will next year. I like the color echo with the yellow flowering sedum.
