I don't know. Didn't get it intentionally, only think I can think of is it was a mixup on one I did order.. Sticking tongue out These photos are of it blooming last year.

I like it Lorn. I believe it is a Mak-Leek lily. There is another that is more outfacing called Sun Valley, I'm not sure I still have it. Will post if it shows up!

Pearl Melanie looks to have nice form. I've been disappointed with the rest of the Pearl series, but Melanie looks nice. And Summer valley is a lovely flower. Nice Thumbs up

It does have a nice form/inflorescence and I agree on the rest of the Pearl series. Pearl Melanie is different from the others in that it was not hybridized by Griesbach.

I don't remember the hybridizer (if I ever knew) but likely one of the Dutch companies. You might check the 4th Supplement to the Lily Register or maybe I can volunteer Lorn to look it up. It isn't in the previous supplements.
