wowza--that's quite a score on that Peach Melba Smiling
I was 'gifted' a couple for Christmas--a Minerva and a Red Lion with a very damaged bud (the blooms came out all beat up looking). I'm thinking I may pitch some this year and get a Peach Melba next year Hilarious!

Sao Paulo from Royal Colors. Its big and showy. Its more of a peachy pink with dark pink veining. At first, it reminded me of Apple Blossom, but as it aged it got darker and the markings became more vivid. Its a nice finish to this season's order from Royal Colors.

I have two more bulbs that just came from WFF, the replacement Fiesta and Lemon Star. It will be a while before they break dormancy. I have just a few outside that look as if they may bloom next week.

Well it is blooming today..me and my Valentine ....it's Tres Chic
Carried over from last year,..summer in the garden in a big container...dug and repotted... Seems like a bit smaller bloom this year... But not by much.. And six flowers on each stem...a great show ...with it 9* F outside... I enjoy it even more...

This was just sold as a generic 'red'. It had three flower stalks, though.

My DH surprised me with 2 Apple Blossom bulbs in 2013, I had just started growing them the year before, and I guess he though if one of the same cultivar was good, 2 would be even better, bless his heart. Lovey dubby Anyway one was a puny little bulb and after it finished blooming it was pretty soft and I thought it would die, I babied it and since then it has caught up to the other one.

Very small Apple Blossom 2013 Same one on the right 2015

Both of my Splash bulbs are in bloom. Nothing else has sent up scapes quite this early. Northern FL is expecting frost (the first of the winter) the next two nights. The frost blankets can damage the blooms, so I'm going to cut the Splash scapes and bring them into the house.
