Violetta's blooms were not as large as last year but just as beautiful, and so far only one bloom stalk. After blooming last year I found a soft spot on the bulb that I had to clean up, so far it is looking good.
Last year was my first time to grow Amaryllis,..it was Amaryllis,'Royal Red',..i was so taken with the size of the blooms and the amount of blooms,..16 in total,..this year i was given two Amaryllis bulbs with no name tag so sorry no name to apply but here they are in bloom today.
Welcome Phillip. Your second photo is probably Minerva, the most common striped Amaryllis in general circulation. Will you post a photo, of the front of the bloom, to see deep into the center. I'm looking to see whether or not there is a red "line" around the center. It's impossible to ID white ones. There are so many of them currently on the market.
Hi Tarev,..Margaret and Barbara,
Thank you for the welcome and nice comments,..well Barbara as you requested below is a close up of the striped Amaryllis,..plus the Amaryllis, 'Royal Red',..which bloomed the first year in December but this year its just in bud at present.

I am lucky to have such a great SW facing bay window like that, works perfectly for them. But as you can see I don't think I have room for any more especially now that they are leafing out.
