It's about 15-20 minutes coming in through Independence OR, which involves the least traffic. Go south on 99W until you hit Monmouth St. and take a left there into Independence. Follow that for ~4 miles and take a right at the three way stop. Take a left over the bridge and I'm 5 miles on that, which is River Road South. Very easy.

For hotels here in Salem, there is a large cluster at the Market Street exit and a smaller number at the Kuebler Blvd. exit. The latter is closest to my place and would be the least traveling to the other sites. There are hotels in Dallas and Monmouth too, aolthough I can't vouch for quaolity of any of those.

The motel in Dallas, by the Safeway/Goodwill shopping mall, is a nice one. Wouldn't use any of the others here in Dallas.

Kevin's directions from Dallas to his place is the very best way to go.

Anyone that wants to come to my house Sat. morning is welcome, whatever time you get here. We don't not sleep in, early risers here.

My two daughters said it was like trying to herd kittens. They had so much fun watching all of us that first year.
Only one of them this last year. But she had a great time with all of you.

How about dinner at 630PM at Marco Polo? I will try to reserve us a room/ long table so we can visit. Prices there are very reasonable.

That also means we need to get an early start to Dancing Oaks, so we can make a stop at Garlands, then on to Patty's place.

Hopefully I'll make it to Patty's (not Patti's...she's on another continent) and just follow everyone else to Marco's.
