I would guess Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Frans Hals') On that one.
Yours does look a little more red.

After having researched a bit and read through a couple of daylily books that were loaned to me- this is honestly what I was thinking also, but the minor differences were enough to make me wonder still... Confused I do think it favors that one a lot, though. Thank You! Angel

I have so many daylilies to download off my camera, but for today this is the picture of the day from my gardens here in Vermont. Blew me away when I saw this.

Great job on the ID's!
Blushing Wonder, don't think I've seen that one posted before, pretty. Condilla is a favorite here with everyone that sees it. Glad to see Barbara Mandrell doing so well in the mountains of Vt. Smiling

A few images from yesterday and today...

Keys to the Kingdom, not very happy here. Struggles to come back each year, but always manages to have a few perfect blooms.

Roswitha, another garden favorite from the "Doubles" bed.

Star Quest, a plant I'm growing for our club's door-prize program. Lee's plants have always done very well up here in zone 4.

Tall Blonde, absolutely love this one! Huge, yellow polychrome with amazing substance....darn thing won't set pods...but the pollen is good Thumbs up

Whiter Shade and friend...where are those chickens when you need them?

Willow Dean Smith, gorgeous when it's single, breathtaking when poly!

Welcome! @Bunilla

BEAutiful blooms everyone. Thumbs up

About all I have blooming is 'Spacecoast Peach Fringe' that was ship to me back in July as you may all remember from VA. And, my 'Autumn Red' continues to produce a few on its bud building scape. No photos as they are still on my camera...

Welcome Bunilla! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!

Barbara Mandell is one I've wanted for a while.

I'm so glad I got Willow Dean Smith this summer. It's not my usual "type" to work with but it's pretty and the scape is awesome.

Vicki......'Barbara Mandrell' is a wonderful plant. I started with 2 fans planted 2 yrs ago. I now have 8 fans, and will have to divide it soon. It's like the energizer bunny....it just keeps going and going. But the odds of getting a picture like the one above are rare as our bloom season is shorter than those of you who live in warmer locations. However, BM will keep blooming even when the temps dip, which starts on Wednesday when the highs will fall to 55 daytime temps. after a cold front moves thru on Tues. nite. Ugh!

Char...I love each of the blooms you posted. Your 'Keys to the Kingdom' is a gorgeous bloom. Simply classic and lovely. Your gardens must be exquisite.

All these August blooms are so gorgeous...it has been so horribly hot and humid here in Bristol, Pa.(zone 7), that it has been difficult to keep flowers watered...my only daylily blooms are Frans Hals, and now I notice several of my seed pods are showing up.
I know that Frans Hal does notshow true from seed, but thought I would still share a photo of these: both parents are" Frans Hals' ", so will be fun to see just what the blooms may look like.

Planted this one back at the beginning of June, so I was surprised it is blooming for me on such a tiny new plant. First time I have seen this bloom in person.

I have downloaded a few blooms from the past week which have been languishing on my camera. So here we go.

Thumb of 2015-08-03/ARoseblush/52c404

'Southern Dazzle'. - Nicole DeVito

I have a ton of Nicole plants here in my garden, especially her early ones, and a few more recent ones. From the very beginning when she started hybridizing, I fell in love with her frilly edges and color patterns. At the time she was only in her late 20's....a woman hybridizing in a man's world. I also have some sdlg. crosses of Nicole's in the sdlg. beds still waiting to bloom.

'Red Velvet Elvis' - Nicole

'Glamourezes' - Nicole

Thumb of 2015-08-03/ARoseblush/85c839

'Barbara Morillo' - Nicole

Thumb of 2015-08-03/ARoseblush/49a5d1

'Susan Elinor' - Nicole

Thumb of 2015-08-03/ARoseblush/360c0a

'Aquadisiac' - Nicole- 1st bloom of the summer. Huge bloom 7.5"- 8". Nicole has used this bloom in some of her newer creations. Color will correct and change dramatically as the bloom season continues and it gets cooler here.

'Carla Ruth' - Nicole

'Red Hot and Boom' - Nicole

'Painted Expressions' - Nicole

'Force to be Reconded With' - Nicole - Another huge bloom 7.5"

'Elephant Ears' - Nicole- 7" Bloom

'Dovealicious' - Nicole

Well, it took a few years to settle in here before the plant bloomed. I almost gave up on it. Then, several yrs. ago, 'RVE sent up 8 blooms. I was amazed at the depth of color, and white frilly edge. It really does look like red velvet. It blooms every year here now, mid to late summer, with about 18 blooms. I do believe that in a more southern state that the white frilly edge would be more pronounced and full. However, in my garden the color is stunning. I did not buy this one from Nicole. Not even sure she had it for sale in 2009. I brought it from a member on the LA as a dbl. fan, as I did with 'Susan Elinor', 'Barbara Morillo', 'Dovealicious' (which I jumped on quickly).and 'Elephant Ears'. I think I purchased 4 from Nicole directly. There are a couple of her newer plants, I would like to get my hands on and probably will as time goes by. When Nicole first started hybridizing in 2007, big flowers and frilly edges were almost non-existent. She really became popular with 'Southern Dazzle' which she split the credit with Mary Gaskins using their flower, 'Dove in Flight'. Her name back then was Nicole Harry, daughter of Pete Harry, hybridizer, and became DeVito when she married 3 years ago. (A bit of history for newer members who joined more recently) I believe Nicole was 26 or 27yrs. old when she first started her daylily business. Her success can be seen in her outstanding blooms each and every year. Thumbs up

Nothing much new here, the daylilies are winding down. Most of those still flowering are ones I've already posted but finally 'Highland Lord' got around to doubling instead of singles, so here it is, looking a bit lighter red in the picture than reality:

I bought Dovealicious in the spring and it really has been struggling to grow all summer. The same thing is happening with Dragonfly Dawn.
