There are so many bicolors with similar colors, that one may near impossible to id.

Suzanne, Cajun Rhythm does look like a match! And the year introduced looks right too. That is one of a group I received 6 or 7 years ago from a dg member who bought them from a co op but soon after found out she had to move to another state. They had names that I didn't keep up with, but sometimes when I see one it rings a bell. Cajun Rhythm is sounding familiar!

I think I got mine from the same co-op Neal as my old inventory list over there has it but I didn't make notes. Man, I love the inventory lists over here!!

That's awesome! There don't seem to be very many with coloring like that, and considering you also purchased from a co op around that time, I feel pretty confident that it is Cajun Rhythm.

On a roll here- how fun! Thanks for the help everyone!

So I need some help, for describing Tag 01 above
searching the database I put in the following in the fields:
TB
very early (this is one of my first TB's to bloom)
self,
line and speckles,
breard color blue/brown
and the query results come back:
no results found your query may have been too specific.
What can I do to get a better search?

Use less information. I'd take out the line and speckles. Do a separate search for each beard color. You just need to take out, or shift search parameters until you get results.

Yep, just what I was going to suggest. Best to only check one in the field for self, lines and speckles, etc., and sometimes leaving beard color blank helps- there are some funny color descriptions there (bronze, brown, orange, tangerine, red, etc.)

Barbara, the first and last ones are such stunning blues! How long have you had them? Where did they come from? Is #01 an accurate example of the color?

I've been trying different search options for them and not coming up with anything yet. The first one has those lines around the beard that make it unique among a lot of blues.

Ok, I'll put you both down for them next year, tag 01 is not a fast increaser but I should have enough for both of you. Neal did you want Tag 01 and 24 also?

Neal, yes tag 01 is pretty accurate on the color, I bought it from a place about 30 miles south of me about four to five years ago (maybe even 6 years ago). The man sold all no id Iris for two dollars a piece. He would get mad at fussy old ladies who wanted named Iris. Rolling on the floor laughing At the time I was into roses and didn't care about named Iris.

Barbara, the only blue that I see that looks like your Tag 01 is Blenheim Royal:

vs. Thumb of 2015-08-23/Moiris/31ace7

I'm not convinced it's right...but it has a lot of the same markings and colors. There seems to be a lot of variation in the shape of the tip of the beard and the amount of white markings on the hafts.

Of course it could be one of the many cultivars that are listed without photos in the database too. Shrug!

Tag 24 is pretty hard to judge without more picture at different angles and in different lighting. There are a lot like it...but my guess is that it might be Brussels:

Brussels looks like a good possibility too. Thank you again for all your help!

How would you describe this one for searching? Pink blend?
