I would think so, but I've tried a few combinations and am not coming up with any feasible results. Trying self now, and having more luck with lavender than pink.

Trying "rose" now..with an orange beard...

Changed to tangerine beard, and look at this one...

How does it compare to Entourage? I thought I had a match and realized this is your photo, LOL!

Thanks Neal! I love the challenge! You got a great start with the pink NoID. I was getting nowhere and had to leave so I gave up. Now, after looking at the ones you found I looked a little more and I think I found a really close one:

So glad I found this thread - I've been looking for an ID for this iris all season. I thought I had gotten it from a neighbor, but realize now that I purchased it last year or the year before at Bachman's, a large local nursery. I absolutely love it but misplaced the tag and do not know its name. I have attached a few different photos showing it in different light. The color could potentially be called anything from rose, to lavender, to orchid, to whatever. It seems to be a mid-season bloomer, and does have a slight fragrance. It has very large flowers and put on quite a nice display. I have indeed spent hours surfing the web using different color names and so forth, but have not yet found the "aha" moment. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

It's similar to one I used to have named Lorilee.

Thanks for the searching Neal and Marilyn,

Tom wrote in another thread (What Did You Do in the Iris Garden Today) about dog ears, the falls are a bit longer on Tag 06, so is that a trait of an older Iris? Do you think this could be older by the looks of this Iris?

There aren't too many mauvey Irises that have the brown marks on the shoulders of the fall. Does the name Cranberry Ice ring a bell?

I'm sure I got this one (tag 06) from the man who did not have any named irises... But I also bought some from a lady a few earlier who had all awards winners. I sure wish I kept the names of the ones I got from the lady. I'm sure she moved a number of years ago.
Is there a place to look for ALL award winners over the years and not just the Dykes award winners?

Jeanie, I searched all the tall bearded 'self's listed as lavender, purple, rose and magenta and I'm not seeing anything that matches. There are a few that are close but have at least 1 thing wrong that excludes them (in my opinion). It could be that our database photos are not clear enough or it is a cultivar that does not have a photo in the database. I can't imagine it being listed as anything other than a self. Sorry...I'm just not seeing it. Shrug!

Here is another picture of Tag 06
the tip of the beard has a touch of white. The "Prom Night" photo the Neal posted has that touch of white. I'm pretty sure it's not Entourage but I'm going to take a closer look nest year.
Thumb of 2015-08-25/Phillipb2/4b438f

Edit to say: this picture does not show the white tip as much as the other picture does.

You could use the ATP Iris Search by clicking on the "Search By Characteristics" option and then highlighting the Honorable Mention or Award of Merit box. If you click on both it will only search up the Award Of Merit irises (which had to get Honorable Mention to be eligible for the AM). So you have to do a separate search for the Honorable Mention ones. There are other awards...but if you are talking about TBs those are the main awards.

You can also search up the awards on the AIS site...but they are listed by year so you have to go one year at a time and it doesn't give you the pictures, only the names. (ex. search: AIS Iris Awards 2012) This list will include all sizes and varieties of irises.

Marilyn, I did the same with the identical result...always had to rule out each possibility because of something. Sighing! Thanks so much for trying.

I do a lot of lurking and don't contribute much but...............I haven't grown Entourage for years but remember it to be an outstanding unique iris for its time. I was an AIS judge when it came out and thought it might be considered for the Dykes. It was a rich hazy rose color or raspberry pink color and at least one of the pictures on the ATP data doesn't resemble it at all. Robert b2's picture picture looks the most like I recall. If you really want to get confused look at the pictures of Entourage on the Iris Encyclopedia. They differ markedly and there are several and only a couple resemble it as I remember it.

What I love about Tag 06 is the darker blush of color down the center of the falls. My picture of Entourage looks more like the center of the falls are a bit lighter in color.

The problem I'm having by searching by characteristics in the database is I'm adding a lot more irises to my want list. *Blush*

Isn't that the truth? And it is SO vast. Anytime that I encounter a missing Iris there -- I'm actually shocked -- because the depth of information there is staggering!!
