NOID. I am still trying to identify this cultivar. It was once a fan from a struggling, degenerate, little clump in an acquaintance’s side garden on the island. It is now a large, vigorous clump with multiple scapes - reaching to nearly 4 feet - seething with flowers.

@needrain Donald the clump has improved and the fans multiplied but the scapes are still only reaching about 21". The blooms, however, are normal size but sit in the foliage or just above it, which is not impressive. This is a bloom from today.

I am a bit worried at the moment because a dangerous thunderstorm is heading our way with large hailstones. I will be so unhappy if it hits the garden and smashes the flowering daylilies. Fingers crossed.

The rain hit hard last night but the major part of the storm with the hail missed the island. I am very grateful. So there are blooms today. Everything is wet though.
