Thanks for the well wishes. I think it was some bad food or something. It's quite a bit better now and I was able to eat a peanut butter and apple sauce sandwich tonight, first time I could eat since yesterday noon. I should be much better tomorrow. Just laid around and snoozed all day.

I've never heard of a peanut butter and apple sauce sandwich.
My husband used to eat spaghetti sandwiches when he was a kid. I haven't the done that either.
Edit: Glad your feeling better Tom

Glad that you are feeling better Tom. Are the peanut butter & applesauce open face sandwiches? I never tried that but do eat peanut butter & mayonnaise ones. I knew one person who also ate those. but she put her mayonnaise on first, but I add it on top of the p=nut butter.

Are all these the same cross? Wow some really nice ones too, love them all, and really like that second one.
I have yet to be successful using Haunted Heart in a cross. I also tried Arrivederci a lot last year both ways with no luck. It's a later bloomer so I didn't have a lot of good choices to cross it with though. I will sure try again this summer. Smiling

Yup, open face. Like them with apple, peach, pear, or banana slices too. Mayonnaise would give me a "relapse"! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Tom, glad you're feeling better! Hurray!

The Haunted Heart offspring are very interesting- lots show varying degrees of HH traits.

My parents met by peanut butter and fried egg sandwiches. He worked as a short order cook and one day one of the waitresses said "Bob wants his PB and egg sandwich!" Mom was curious and asked who the crazy person was. He came out and they talked. The rest, as they say, is history. Hilarious!

Nice Haunted Heart seedlings. I still like the gold Haunted Heart seedling from before over this group though.

I wanted to share a couple of my favorite Plicata Seedlings that I saw in his garden and show some of the kids and grand kids coming from them. This 1st group really caught my attention when I was in his garden the colors are just Outstanding !! but did not realize they were all related until going through the pictures and studying the tags trying to figure out where they all came from Smiling it's easy when it's 2 named varieties but more difficult to track when it's seedling numbers.

My favorite for color impact is 07-176B I have had the Rob drool syndrome Green Grin! for this one for years now but know it will never get a name because it lacks Buds, Kieth has been working on improving it and I'm sure trying to pass the color combination on, the 2nd from the end 12-103c seems to be a improvement at least for the few hours I was there to see it, more buds, nice stalk and great color. Hopeful we will see it sometime in the future or one with (07-176B) in the pedigree as you can see there are wonderful color combinations that can come from it and it looks to be a good parent. A seedling patch full of it's kids would be fun Smiling
