I've had Sneezy for a long time, it almost got crowded out by quack grass, but I was able to save it with the help of Grass B Gon. It's a nice one.

I agree

I do have one that I had to have after I learned it's name. Snork had posted a great pic of this lavender space ager... and the name was Durham Dream. Then I learned it was a Zurbrigg and was named for the Durham I live in (as opposed to Durham, England) so I knew I had to get it.

So this pic is Durham Dream in Durham.

Just poking my head in, but when I saw a few other Star Trek fans in this thread, I got all giddy and decided to make a peep... Leslie ( @Lestv ) and @Polymerous (and Sherry?...with your 'Phasers on Stun'?)...I love when I stumble across flowers with Star Trek names, too! Poly, I especially love that 'Starship Enterprise' iris you posted a picture of, it's beautiful!

Tom, what a great thread idea! And I love the iris name 'Sammie's Jammies'

Gabriel ( @Cuzz4short ), that Michigan's Pride one IS beautiful, I can see why you covet it, lol! I'm not a MI native, but I wouldn't mind having that one in my yard!

I too have Starship Enterprise to go with my Star Trek themed garden. I also have Klingon Princess Iris. I can't find a picture of it right now but I will post one later.

Oops, forgot these two, both with Starship Enterprise as a parent:

I never watched this part of the series, but the flower is pretty. Smiling

I love my Starship Enterprise but it hasn't bloomed in the last two years. I hear from others that it is a bit temperamental that way. I have more Star Wars iris than Trek ones actually. I don't have M. Falcon though I really like it. I do have Skywalker, and Lightsaber and would love to get Dark Vadar. Oh and just ordered Wukee. Other sci fi series iris I have include Seven of Nine, Doctor Who, and my beloved Muggles. There are a lot of LOTR's iris I would like to get - especially Eye of Sauron and Galadriel's Ring. I have Legolas and am really hoping it blooms this spring as I have never seen a picture of it. If you like space agers Battlestar Atlantis is a beautiful white one with horns.

Seven of Nine is still Star Trek! ...it's just from Voyager, though. My favorite ST series was actually TNG (The Next Generation), but they each have their own merit. I'm only lukewarm about Star Wars, it's more action-based whereas I prefer the more introspective or cerebral nature of Star Trek. I do love Lord of the Rings, though. I like Harry Potter, too. Tolkien and Rowling are brilliant, imaginative people.

Leslie, you need to add Mordor to your collection!
