Ha, your junk drawers and old jewelry stash must be just like mine. I have been thinking of doing a memory jar for a long time. I have a lot of old pins from clubs and girl scouts. There are foreign coins from trips and all sorts of neat things. I just have too many ideas and never enough time.

I have some deep shadow box style frames. I'm thinking of making something using those. They will be perfect to showcase all the little items.

This is a big hand thrown vase I found in a thrift shop. It was cracked and had a piece out of the top lip, but I managed to renovate it and have it out in the garden now.

Wow, so much to inspire on this thread. I just got back from Florida where I collected shells, I have loads of beads taking up space, and some real cool looking liquor bottles just waiting for a project. Now to buy some caulk and I'll be good to go.

Aren't the Florida shells wonderful, Robin? I always come home with a lot of them and they are so much fun to use. Good luck with your projects, and show us pics! That polyseamseal comes in clear and white, so be sure to get the clear, in the small tube. I started out using the huge caulking gun tubes and those are hard on hands!

I just saw examples of your terra cotta pots! They are beautiful and you are very creative and talented (can I say humble too!?!) I want to send some pics of my painted pots but now I don't know; now I'm kind of insecure about it The only current pics I have are from my Christmas themed craft fairs. I changed computers and cannot transfer my pics from old to this new one. I will take few pics at a time.

Hey, don't worry. We'll love seeing your pics! I feel that way sometimes. The things that I think are flawed and I don't like have ended up being a treasured piece for someone else.I'm making one right now that I'm tempted to trash! Please do take a few new pics when you can.

I just saw this great idea on Pinterest. The pot decorating looks easy enough for anyone to do and they sure would perk up our home or garden areas!
